Beyoncé denies alleged affair with Barack Obama

Beyoncé has been forced to deny that she's had an affair with Barack Obama. Sure, Mr Obama is a well-known fan of
Beyoncé - she has regularly performed at White House events, including Michelle's 50th birthday party. But it turns out the rumours were just as laughable as those allegations about Liz Hurley and Bill Clintonlast week - with a rep for the singer saying the rumours were "absurd".
Allegations that the singer and the US President had embarked on an affair started circulating around the French media yesterday morning, after a French papparazzo claimed the Washington Post newspaper was planning to run a story on the two on France's Europe 1 radio station.
Pascal Rostain, who is also a friend of the former French first lady Valérie Trierweiler, was promoting his memoir on the radio station, and revealed:
"There is something big that is happening… it'll go out tomorrow in the Washington Post...I can assure you the world will be talking about it. We cannot say that it is from the gutter press - a supposed liaison between President Barack Obama and Beyoncé. I can assure you that the world will talk."

The story quickly spread like wildfire, however, the Washington Post were quick to deny the claims. Kristine Coratti, director of communications for the newspaper said they had recieved a number of calls, but had no other information other than the fact that Mr Obama and Bey were firm friends.
"It's kind of crazy how fast these rumours spread" she added.
Then, just as Tom Sizemore had admitted he'd made the Liz Hurley/Bill Clinton rumours up, Pascal admitted he was actually joking when he started the allegations. So it turns out all rumours of a White House romance were totally made up and Jay Z/Bey and Michelle/Barack are all still very much drunk in love with each other.
