Us Weekly confirmed the news that the couple were "taking a break" and blaming "busy schedules" for the decision,
although neither have officially commented on the split yet.
The news will come as a shock to some - the pair were seen walking hand-in-hand on the red carpet at the Grammys in January.
Anthony is yet to divorce former wife Jennifer Lopez, who told GLAMOUR that she still loved him "as the father of my children and as my friend", although "That doesn't mean that we were meant to be in a marriage forever".

Marc Anthony has been spotted cosying up on a date with Topshop heiress Chloe Green, fuelling speculation that the pair are now an item.
The 44-year-old singer was snapped on a date with 21-year-old Green at Disneyland in Anaheim, California on Tuesday. The couple were also joined by Anthony's 5-year-old twins - Max and Emme - from his marriage to Jennifer Lopez.
News of the couple's romance comes after the former Made In Chelsea star joined her father Philip Green at the launch of Topshop's first Los Angeles store, which a number of stars - including Anthony's ex-wife Lopez - attended.
Meanwhile, Anthony himself, who split from J-Lo in 2011, was seen promoting the British brand on his Twitter page, posting: "Who ever doesn't know about #Topshop #Topman in LA has to get in on it! Just had the time of my life at The Grove Amazing!" [sic]
Green, who since appearing in the hit E4 show Made In Chelsea has launched her own shoe line at Topshop, also mentioned the Latino singer in a Twitter conversation with a friend, writing: "LA is our future! But Marc asks what about New York!? Did you forget about your pub!? Already!"
