Kenya's retired President Daniel Arap Moi has been ordered by the High Court in Nairobi to pay Ksh. 1.6 billion Susan Cheburet Chelungui and his son David Chelungui for the misuse of his authority and robbed the family in 1983
The widow was robbed of her farm in a fraudulent manner while officials in the government were used in the fraud and then sold the farm to Rai Plywood (K) Limited
The court said that apart from President Moi, part of the farm was also distributed to the former assistant Minister of Moi, Stanley Metto
Judge Ombwayo said there was no evidence to show the validity of the retired President to be registered as the rightful owner of the farm - #regrann
